This page explains how Starlink News decides what to publish, where our facts come from, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Independence
Starlink News is not affiliated with SpaceX, Starlink or any internet provider. No company pays for coverage, reviews or placement, and we do not publish sponsored articles.
Sourcing
- Every fact, figure, price and quote in a news story comes from a named source, and we link that source in the text.
- We prefer primary sources: company announcements, regulators’ decisions and official filings. When a report relies on a single outlet, we say so.
- We do not add estimates, “typical” figures or speculation of our own. If the sources do not explain something, neither do we.
- Where sources disagree, we report the disagreement rather than choosing a version.
- Prices and availability differ by country and change often. Guides state the country and the date the information applies to.
Use of AI tools
Our articles are written with the help of AI tools, working only from the sources cited in each article. Every article is checked against a written standard for accuracy, sourcing, structure and usefulness before it is published; drafts that fall short are not published.
Updates
Guides are updated when prices, plans or regulations change, and the updated date is shown on the article. News stories are not rewritten after the fact; if a story develops, we publish a new article and link the two.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Email info@starlink-news.com with the article link and what is incorrect, and include a source if you have one. We check every report. When we correct an article, we add a note at the end saying what changed and when. We do not quietly remove errors.
