Starlink News is an independent website covering Starlink and satellite internet: where the service is available, what it costs, how it performs, and how regulators and governments are handling it. We pay particular attention to Zimbabwe and the rest of Africa, where availability, licensing and pricing change quickly and are poorly documented.

What we publish
- News. Each story is written once, from every outlet we can find reporting it, with the outlets named and linked in the text so you can check what they said. When outlets disagree, we say so.
- Guides. Plans and prices by country, availability and licensing, equipment and installation, and comparisons with other ways to get online. Guides are updated when the facts change.
How our articles are produced
Our articles are written with the help of AI tools, working only from the sources we cite. Before anything is published it is checked against a written quality standard covering accuracy, sourcing, structure and usefulness, and drafts that do not meet it are not published. We do not publish figures, prices or quotes that our sources do not support. Our Editorial & Corrections Policy sets out the rules in full.

The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say in what we cover or how, and we do not publish paid or sponsored articles.
